There are some things you should know about the Harborwalk.
Knowing what to do before you get into town or having a plan can be the difference between a good night out and a great night out. After a long day on Crab Island a great way to wind down is to check out the harbor after sunset. There’s a lot to do after dinner on the harbor.
The Harborwalk allows open containers.
You heard it correctly. You can carry drinks on the Harborwalk and can bar hop to your hearts content.
The Bars are open between 2 and 4 AM.
After the pandemic some of the bars restricted their hours and started closing at 2 AM such as AJs. There are still some bars that stay open until 4 AM such as the Rotton Apple and Coyote Ugly.
There are late night places to eat within walking distance.
Possibly the best part of the harbor is the fact that McGuire’s is across the street. You can head over there and get a steak at 1:30 AM before they close at 2. There’s also a Whataburger for those of you wanting to close down the bar that is 24/7 where you can snag a honey butter chicken biscuit.
